Stephanie is a senior studying French and English Literature at the University of Mary Washington, and is planning to graduate in May 2010. She enjoys doing translation work for the organization and learning about indigenous communities, especially those that are French-speaking. She also loves making connections between her internship and her course work. She has always been interested in learning more about and working with NGOs, especially those concerned with international affairs and people. Recently, she is taking more of an interest in the environment. Besides her internship and degree, she works at the University of Mary Washington Writing Center as a tutor and, in addition to getting involved with grant work, is looking forward to assisting in the development and editing of the First Peoples Worldwide blog! Stephanie plans to move to Paris after graduation and her hobbies include the performing arts, travel, visiting museums education, feminism, and planning and public transport.

She also works as a Student Aid in the Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research at UMW. Brianna is Vice President of the Alpha Phi Sigma honor society at UMW where she encourages members to participate in community service, which is an essential part of belonging to the honor society. She is a native of Colorado and loves cheering on the Denver Broncos. She is fascinated by people (especially Indigenous Peoples) and loves to learn about different cultures. Brianna enjoys traveling and although it seems slightly unrealistic, she wants to "Save the World!" It is also worth noting that Brianna loves professional soccer players, especially Christiano Ronaldo!
